hahaha LOVED IT.i am a Filipino living in America who has a British sense of humor. seriously when i am over at some of my friends parties, and someone happens to tell a joke, it doesn't seem quite funny, but when something so random and spontaneous happens, i end up laughing where people actually think I'm crying because i am laughing so hard. i laugh at the most bizarre things and only a few close friends share my sense of humor. especially when it comes to watching others react to something.

And as for punk'd..that comedy is directed at a niche market. Young MTV generation kids from 13-24. It hardly counts as a comedy that represents American humor.

you can't really narrow down American humor/humour the way you can with British humor because the U.S.A is an amalgmation of many different people with different backgrounds.There is no universal standards in the USA. For example there is the "blue collar" comedy which resonates more with the south and the working class.Black comedians in general tend to say a lot about race/social status.Then there is the concept of vulgar comedy vs clean "family comedy." Not all U.S. comedy is physical comedy.
