it's offered as an accessory at Ducati store! but I guess that the price of the replacement would make it too close to 1098 :P but i would buy it anyway XD

drooooollllllll, this is the predecessor to my s2r800. Best looking bike I've ever seen. Now if it was only a dry clutch.......

about €12000. r6 and gsx750 cost less, but ducati is ducati, plus you get the best engine for a bike (yes, 2 cylinder, but look at engine power curve and then compare to 4 cylinders, there ya go!) and probably one of the nicest rides for street use, yet fast as hell.

It's called Desmodromic valve actuation. It's the mechanism that opens and closes the valves. The only bike made with that feature. Most are cams and I think Mv Agustas are pneumatic. Might be wrong on that one.
